I've had two angelfish for over a year now - both purchased from Pisces Exotica in Calgary when they were babies. They are now fully grown and do not get along.

I'm looking to rehome only one of the angelfish, and will keep the other in my community tank. It does not matter to me which one stays and which one goes.

One is a beautiful black, the other a shimmery blue/silver.

Angelfish are relatively peaceful & non aggressive with other community/peaceful fish. Both of my angelfish have been great with all their other tankmates (platys, tetras, rasboras, a gourami and some corydoras)

Angelfish need to be in a bare minimum tank size of 29 gallons. They will not thrive in a smaller environment. They are large fish when compared to tetras, platys, etc. They currently live in a 55 gallon community tropical tank.

Angelfish need a heater (tropical water conditions) - and will die if put into unheated water. Bare minimum temperature of 78 degrees F/25.5 degrees Celsius. 78/25.5 is appropriate for most of your common community tropical tank mates.
