Richard - Ginori is a company founded on 11 October 1896 from the merger of the Società Ceramica Richard , of Lombard origin, with the Manifattura di Doccia by the Marquis Carlo Ginori founded in 1737 in the town of Doccia (Sesto Fiorentino). It is famous throughout the world for its porcelain , the production of which is still located in Sesto Fiorentino.
Richard-Ginori, officially bankrupt in January 2013, was purchased in May 2013 by the Gucci group.
