My name is Joel and I'm currently looking for a place to live for August 1, but it can be hard finding a place for 1 person that's affordable, so I was thinking I'd try to find some people to look for a place and split rent with.

I am currently living in Scarborough and work part-time doing concessions at the Rogers Centre and I'm planning to go back to school at Canada Christian College in Whitby after the summer, so I'd prefer something on the east end of the GTA, but I can be a little flexible if I need to.

I am a Christian and would prefer to live with other Christians that take their faith seriously, but can be flexible on that as long as you are respecting my values and the values of anyone else we might live with.

I don't want to live with a couple.

I can't safely live with smokers for health reasons as I have a sensitivity to that kind of smoke.

To make sure we can actually get along with each other before we start living with each other, I would like to have a phone call with anyone who's interested, and maybe meet in person if possible, so that we can get to know each other a little.

I am open to finding 1 person to get a 2-bedroom place to split rent with, or a bigger group for a bigger place, as long as we can all get along with each other.

I am looking to have my own private room, and would expect that everyone in our group would have their own private room.

Personally, my max budget would be around $700 a month.
