{INV#BS1184-PC} | Antique Apollinaris Bottle. Circa 1880-1910's. Likely imported from Germany. Turn mold body with an applied short blob finish. Titanic survivor Frank Browne sharing eyewitness account in 1912 refers to a bottle of Apollinaris water on dining table of first class dining saloon. There are several small chunks out of the finish. Scratches around sides of body. Overall a beautiful bottle in decent condition. There are some stretch marks in the neck/shoulder area typical of a mouth-blown bottle. Few small bubbles around sides of body. One real nice stretched bubble running vertical from neck to shoulder. Good addition to any antique bottle collection.
