We need a medium to large breed dog to hang out on the farm. Prefer couch potatoes! Must be good with cats, other old dogs, all breeds of farm fowl, and livestock. Chasing and/or eating other friends is not acceptable, so little to no prey drive preferred. Job requirements include snuggles, alerting when someone enters the yard. Barking at coyotes and chasing squirrels and ravens is appreciated. We provide a 4 acre fenced yard, and lots of love. We work, but do have a dog sitter that looks after the pets during the day, though sometimes they may have to ‘spend a few hours alone. We are all older people with health issues, so prefer a middle aged to almost senior, quiet dog. Perfect size would be 20 to 60 pounds. We prefer a mostly inside dog that enjoys spending nice days outside.
