We have 3 GIRL PUPPIES available from our absolutely adorable summer litter of 9 Portuguese Water Labs, born May 15th and ready to join their families July 10th.

The price for our puppies is $1,200. Our 3 puppies, “Sugarbear”, “Cocobean” and “Brownie” are in the first 3 photos, and the last 4 photos are of each parent (as puppies and adults).

New to the canine scene, Portuguese Water Labs (nicknamed Porty-Labs) are rare and unique, with combined superior genetics of non-shedding Portuguese Water Dogs (Porties) and calm loving eyes/short snout/boxy heads of Labrador Retrievers (Labs). Porty-Labs are medium-size dogs, with adult males weighing 40-55 lbs and females 35-50 lbs. Historically, Porties go back centuries, and are the original ‘Doodles'. However, the beautiful wavy non-shedding coats of Porties (and our Porty-Labs), who we use for our breeding program, are very different from common Doodles (and Labradoodles).

Our 45 lb chocolate Mom (50% Porty and 50% Lab) and our 40 lb black with white-chested Dad (100% purebred Porty) make the most suitable combination of genetics for our Porty-Lab bloodlines. Noting both breeds have elite retrieval/tracking/hunting instincts, our puppies have calm, loving, gentle temperament combined with stalwart robust physical conformation and elite care-giving instincts of Labs, alongside athletic agility and endurance, complemented with beautiful non-shedding wavy coats of Porties. Noting our puppies are 75% Porty and only 25% Lab, we expect them to be non-shedding, but cannot know for absolute certainty whether they are 100% hypoallergenic until they are at least 4 months old.

Our Porty-Lab puppies will be joining their families having been vet-checked, de-wormed and vaccinated. Raised in our family as pets, the puppies are being cuddled and played with multiple times per day, and they will be pad-trained, appropriately exposed to scent/texture, and well prepared for house/crate training.
