1991 Washburn J6 archtop, fitted with an internal RMC Piezo & 13 pins guitar-synth pickup, and a Lollar CC (Charlie Christian) neck pickup. Also comes with a good hard case.
Leaving aside the upgrades I added to it (the RMC system and the Lollar CC pickup), I sanded away the polyurethane sunburst finish. I did a rough job, but it opened that archtop sound dramatically as far as its acoustic sound is concerned.
With the added acoustic Piezo and synth-access pickups, the 4 buttons on it now function like this: the top 2 are the volume and tone of the Lollar CC magnetic pickup, one of the bottom 2 is for the synth volume, and the other for either the Lollar or the acoustic Piezo or a blend of the two. Finally, the switch that switched the 2 original pickups now switches between synth patches.
It's a wonderful instrument, both as an archtop and for its synth-access. It's acoustically resonant, with good intonation and a low action, but since I have another archtop that I use more, I hope it can find a player that will enjoy everything it has to offer.
