We are seeking a friendly outgoing female support worker for a 40 year-old woman who has CP. Staff motivate and assist client to live fully, understand her health and grow hobbies. Absolutely no experience needed; fun goofy attitude and strong work ethic most important. We are a very go with the flow household that seeks a consistent and independent person to add to the mix.

Total weekly: 24 hours
Set shifts: Monday-Thursday 5 pm - 11 pm (No daytimes or weekends!!!)
Pay: PDD Family Managed standard of $22.66/hr

This position includes one person transfers and lifting of wheelchair to vehicle. Light housekeeping and errands also included. A paid trial period applies as this is just as much "personal connection" as it is supportive care.

APPLICANTS MUST ENSURE:
- Female, at least 5'4" tall, and over 120 lbs.
- Full valid drivers license
- Clear criminal record
- No back or mobility issues
- Reliable, trustworthy
- Clear English.
- Canadian resident

** Please Note **
- Due to the nature of this person being non-verbal and having limited understanding requiring translation when you are out together, having clear English is a necessity.
- Also because community outings are common and unlimited, a female employee is needed for gender restrictive areas such as public bathrooms.
- Height and weight are only factors to ensure safe work environment given independent transfers and lifts.
- We provide vehicle for outings which you would drive, and cover basic costs associated with you attending events/meals. No additional cost to employees!
