Mehmet Barber Shop is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barber to join our growing team. We are a well-established barbershop offering classic and modern grooming services in a vibrant and professional environment. The ideal candidate is not only passionate about men's grooming but also interested in contributing to the long-term success and growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality haircuts, fades, beard trims, and traditional shaves. Advise clients on styles and hair care products. Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation. Deliver exceptional customer service to clients. Support the team in maintaining the shop's professional standards. Keep up with current hair trends and techniques. Salary: $35 per hour (based on experience)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a professional barber.
Proven ability to perform modern styles such as skin fades, razor lineups, and beard sculpting.
Diploma or certification in hairstyling/barbering (preferred).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in long-term professional growth.
Required languages: English, Persian, Turkish (due to the client needs).
Additional Requirements for International Applicants: We are open to supporting a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) for qualified international candidates. The selected candidate is required to purchase 30% of the business shares for a total amount of CAD 30000.
