We are currently looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our production team in Winnipeg. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing precise and durable formwork for concrete.
Key Responsibilities
• Construct and assemble wooden and steel forms for precast concrete casting
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately
• Measure, cut, and fit materials to exact standards using a variety of tools
• Ensure formwork is properly aligned and secured for safe concrete pours
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure all tools are used safely
• Collaborate with production team members to meet daily targets
• Adhere to all health, safety, and quality control standards
Qualifications
• Journeyperson Carpenter certification or equivalent work experience
• Skilled with power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
• Reliable, punctual, and physically capable of performing hands-on labour
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Assets
• Experience in a precast concrete or similar industrial setting
