2016 Reg AQHA well broke mare; This is THE horse you want in your work horse string for cow work, ranching, pasture & fence checking - she is a big flashy mover, smart, and stands at 15.3hh. She is fancy broke with buttons. She is a really big, sturdy horse. SOLID, thick bone, she is hardy gal. If you're looking for a tough horse that thrives in work, that never complains and excels in whatever she's thrown into, here's your gal ‍♀️ I will only let her go somewhere that can provide a purpose/job for her or if you're looking for a good mare to add to your broodmare string.

This girl is incredible and will not quit on you - she is THE hardest working horse I've come across. Was started as a 3 year old where she was rode on a ranch, checking cattle for a few years on and off and put back to work consistently in 2023. She has spent time on feedlots, as well as extensive indoor and outdoor arena work and has shown in sorting and cattle penning and even worked a cattle sorting event while showing in it (she was swapping cattle out for the competitors for 8 hours straight, and sorting cattle in the show pen in between). She has worked bison, and proved to have absolutely no fear walking through large herds of them. Does incredibly well in stressful and chaotic environments - she is so in-tune with her job and her rider that nothing phases her. She has a solid & BIG stop and a strong W/T/L with smooth transitions. Good to load and haul. Great ground manners. Very soft in face and collects nicely. Great for farrier and vets. (She's a farrier and vet favourite). Super willing mare.

Why she's affordable:

She has had mild arthritic changes in her hocks (like most performance horses do after many hours and training). Can share X-rays and vet notes! The vet doesn't believe she needs injections at this time, but she will need them down the road. She is doing well on supplements but I have not legged her up this season either - all of the above has been taken into consideration. Can share vet records and give you their information so you can continue to keep in touch with vet on action plan when you are ready to do more maintenance on her. She has been significantly reduced in price due to this. I will only let her go if her home is more suitable than what I can offer her at this time. She is a solid, good girl.
