Office Coordinator & Customer Experience Representative

Job Summary:
We are a leading provider of custom-made blinds, shades, and shutters, committed to enhancing the look and comfort of every space we serve. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Office Coordinator & Customer Experience Representative to manage the daily operations of our Halifax-area office. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask efficiently, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Note: Full training will be provided on products and systems. However, the ideal candidate should be confident handling customers both over the phone and in-store.

Key Responsibilities:
Office Management:
• Open and close the office daily.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Manage office supplies, coordinate deliveries, and ensure showroom samples and materials are well presented.
• Liaise with head office for inventory, scheduling, or operational updates.
Lead Handling & Customer Service:
• Answer incoming calls, emails, and online inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Input and manage leads using CRM or booking systems.
• Schedule in-home consultations and follow-up with clients as needed.
• Track leads and assist with basic follow-up campaigns when required.
‍♀️ Walk-In Customer Support:
• Greet and assist walk-in clients with basic product knowledge, showroom navigation, and quotes.
• Introduce services offered and gather client preferences for follow-up by designers or sales consultants.
• Deliver a quality in-store experience to help turn inquiries into bookings or sales.
Sales Support & Administration:
• Generate quotes and invoices as required.
• Process and log deposits and payments.
• Coordinate order processing, sample requests, and appointment bookings.
• Optionally assist with local social media updates or engagement posts.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience in office coordination, retail, or customer service preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with phone, email, and booking systems or CRMs.
• Friendly, professional attitude with a customer-first mindset.
• Highly dependable and self-motivated.
• Prior exposure to window treatments or home décor is a plus (but not necessary).

Position Details:
• Location: 95 Akerley Blvd, Dartmouth, NS
• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
