Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, and occasionally repairing solar energy systems in residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of electrical systems.
Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations and repairs.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and local electrical codes.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
Journeyman or Red Seal designation.
Clean Class 5 drivers license (or higher).
Capable of lifting 25-50 lbs. and working at heights on different roofing surfaces.
Proficient in understanding schematics.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
Experience as an industrial electrician is preferred.
Ability to effectively use hand tools and power tools in various settings.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
