Canada security is immediately looking to hire a Concierge Security Guard for Condo with 1 Years experience. The Concierge job will consist of but is not limited to Concierge desk security, guards securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; and inspecting edifices, equipment, and access points; permitting or refusing entry. Rapid alarm response is crucial for desired outcomes.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: • Past experience in a condominium setting • reliable, and honest • Meticulous record keeping, report writing and observation skills • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills • Exceptional judgment, common sense and decision-making ability • Ability to operate security equipment/systems, camera recording systems, computers and radios • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs • Excellent Customer Service abilities • Must be comfortable walking, standing, patrolling • A Valid Ontario Security Guard License is required • Eligibility to work full-time, legally in Canada without restrictions (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Work Permit only) • Applicants must live in Hamilton or nearby.
POSITION SUMMARY – Duties & Responsibilities • Supervise, mentor and train security personnel • Inspect and patrol premises regularly • Monitor property entrance • Authorize entrance of people and vehicles • Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings • Secure all exits, doors and windows • Monitor surveillance cameras • Respond to alarms and react in a timely manner • Provide assistance to people in need • Submit reports of daily surveillance activity • Submit reports of every suspicious action.
