I am an experienced guitar player. I would like to form a " Jazz like trio '" to perform
American song book material as well as tunes from any decade which have a
good lyric and melody. Good tunes, be they Motown, Latin, or other Genera which have
an immediate identifiable swing rhythm / groove. Trio lounge work would be a good place to begin.
Once a basic set list of material is established, then a drummer with soft brushes could be added to accommodate dance venues. This is a part time project , and travel wise limited to 1 hour from Calgary.
