Barista Chai / Coffee Bar

Job description
We are looking for a Barista to provide exceptional service at private events and shows. This is a part-time position. Locations will vary depending on the client and event.

Responsibilities:
- Setting up and pulling down beverage workstation/ equipment
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food/ drink preparation and handling as needed
- Able to lift 50 pounds and walk/stand most of the day
- Well dressed in all black formal event clothing and keep a neat well-groomed appearance for going to weddings and special events.

Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling and retail math is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to arrive early and on scheduled time
- G driver's license and experience driving a Cargo Van would be a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Part-time hours: 8-30 per week

Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
