Meet Iris — Your Friendly Piano Teacher!
Hi there! My name is Iris, and I'm a 12-year-old piano teacher who absolutely loves helping younger kids (ages 5 to 8) learn to play piano in a fun, kind, and patient way! A parent or guardian is welcome to stay during lessons to watch, support, or just enjoy the music! But an adult will always be there to surpervise!
I've been playing piano since I was 5 years old, so that's over 7 years of music in my fingers! I remember what it felt like to start — sometimes it was exciting, and sometimes a little tricky. That's why I teach in a way that's easy to understand, with fun songs, games, and lots of encouragement.
Even though I'm still young, I've helped kids:
• Play their first songs with just one hand
• Use both hands together
• Understand simple notes and rhythms
• Build confidence on the keys
I believe every child can learn piano, no matter how shy or wiggly they are! My lessons are made to be fun, calm, and full of smiles.
