This is a well made Machine vise. The vise weighs 62 lbs , the mounting base weighs 24 lbs, and the removable crank handle weighs 2 lbs. The removable jaws will open up the 6”. The mounting holes for the vise are 8 1/4”apart and the holes for the base are 12” apart.
