FortisBC is promoting a rebate program,
Eligible households can install a heat pump air conditioner at low cost—or even for free! ✨

But not everyone can apply. You must meet all the following conditions

Your home must be a FortisBC electricity customer
(or a customer of Grand Forks, Penticton, Summerland, or Nelson Hydro)

You must be the homeowner, and the electricity account must be under your name

The home must be your primary residence and your only property in BC

The house must be over 10 years old and under 3,500 square feet

The home type must be one of the following:
single-family; duplex; triplex; row home; townhouse or manufactured/mobile home on a permanent foundation.

⚙️The heat pump must replace an existing hard-wired electric heating system, such as electric baseboards, radiant ceiling, radiant floors or an electric forced-air furnace.

Note: Household annual income must not exceed the amounts shown in image 2 (proof of income required)
