Must Have Sewing Experience

Elegance Upholstery is hiring a full-time Upholstery Assistant with proven sewing experience. This is a hands-on role assisting with high-end upholstery projects including furniture, vehicles, and more. We're looking for someone comfortable behind a sewing machine and eager to grow in a skilled trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines

Cut and sew fabric, vinyl, and other materials to spec

Assist with upholstery teardown and reassembly

Support lead upholsterers on various projects

Keep the work area clean and organized


Requirements:

Sewing experience is mandatory (home ec, garment sewing, or upholstery preferred)

Able to use hand tools and power tools confidently

Physically able to lift and move furniture and materials

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn


Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Wage:
$16–$18/hour depending on experience, with opportunity for advancement
