Job Posting: Live In Housekeeping and Camp Operations Manager (1-Year Contract) for a private club.

Hours: 35-40 hours/week (day, early morning, morning, evening, night, shift, weekend)

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain cottages, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, making beds, changing linens, and stocking supplies.
• Clean and disinfect kitchen/bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Handle lost and found items, address guest requests, and provide basic facility information.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and window/wall cleaning.
• Maintain grounds, buildings, and boats, including minor repairs, painting, and seasonal cleaning.
• Manage garbage removal, wood supply, and yard work.
• Maintain accurate records for fish catches, bookings, guest fees, and property sign-ins.
• Conduct property patrols, assist with fish stocking, and ensure compliance with club rules.
• Respond promptly to member inquiries and assist during club events and meetings.

Requirements:

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience an asset.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines.
• Physically demanding role involving repetitive tasks, heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and extended standing.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada and willing to relocate if not residing near the location.
