*Not all fluffy dogs need to be shaved to enjoy summer, depending on the coat of your pup (huskies and pomeranians as a common example) shaving can actually do more harm than good. If that is the case, your dog requires a deshed service (removal of all the dead undercoat) to beat the heat. This allows their skin to breathe and their body to thermoregulate. Always provide plenty of water for your dog and limited time in the sun to avoid heat exhaustion.
