C&E Transport operates a trucking business serving western Canada mostly hauling grain and dry fertilzer We also haul liquid fertilzer, some machinery and gravel. Position Overview:

As a Heavy Duty Truck & Trailer Technician, you'll be the backbone of our service team, ensuring our fleet is in top condition. You'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers, providing high-quality service that keeps our operations running smoothly. Job Duties:

Perform diagnostic inspections and troubleshooting on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Collaborate with team members to solve complex mechanical issues.
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:


Proven experience working with heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety standards
