Job Title: Industrial Cleaner (Contract)

$650/week.

Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Industrial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial cleaning equipment and procedures, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a demanding industrial setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of our industrial premises, including production areas, machinery, warehouses, and common facilities, to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain industrial cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, power washers, vacuum systems, and other specialized machinery.
* Perform heavy-duty cleaning tasks, including degreasing, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors, walls, and equipment.
* Clean and sanitize production lines, machinery parts, and work surfaces according to established schedules and procedures.
* Dispose of waste and recycling materials properly, including hazardous materials as per safety guidelines.
* Clean and maintain washrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and other common areas.
* Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify areas requiring cleaning or maintenance.
* Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or structural damage to supervision immediately.
* Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout procedures when applicable.
* Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications:
* Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident. (Proof of status will be required upon hire.)
* Proven experience as an Industrial Cleaner or in a similar industrial cleaning role.
* Strong knowledge and practical experience with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
* Demonstrated understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols.
* Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and potentially hazardous materials (with proper PPE).
* Physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks, including heavy lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and working at heights.
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety.
* Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
