This time I have a 1936/37 GE console radio with nine tubes.
I have recapped the radio,tested the tubes,replaced wires and lubricated the controls so it plays very well and will continue to play for many years.
The rare rare eye tube is working

The capacitors needed to be replaced as they dry out over the years
The radio has a very unusual horseshoe dial with vernier tuning. It has Broadcast and two shortwave bands plus a long wave band.
The speaker is 12 inches in an enclosed cabinet.
The grill cloth and knobs are original.
I had to refinish the bottom of the cabinet , but the rest is original and has been cleaned.
