Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team.

This position will be casual & on an as-needed basis, compensation will be commensurate with experience & ability. Most jobs will be hardscaping projects - a strong knowledge of interlocking is required. Additional compensation is available for candidates with their own equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. You will be responsible for maintaining gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas, ensuring they are healthy, beautiful, and well-kept.

Responsibilities

Dig, plant, and maintain various types of flora in gardens and landscaped areas.
Build and install landscape features such as retaining walls, pathways, and garden beds.
Skilled in interlocking
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete landscaping tasks.
Conduct routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues or areas needing attention.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Skills

Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques and practices.
Mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment effectively.
Experience using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like lawnmowers and trimmers.
Strong ability to dig, garden, build, irrigate, and maintain various landscape features.
Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship in all tasks performed.
