Now ready to be a piece of living art, please meet Nugget!

Nugget is a roughly 10 year old male leopard gecko. We do not know exactly what genetics this little one has but we are going with albino murphy's patternless after some chats with some professionals! Nugget came to us as he was refusing to eat in his previous home, where his husbandry knowledge was behind where they were comfortable with continuing his care. Nugget came to us with a small scab on his upper left lip and some areas of retained shed. He will need continuous supplements as he was not given them in his previous home for his own care both dusted on his bugs and a container of them in his enclosure at all times. Nugget is an extremely skittish gecko, and is quite fast, faster then you'd imagine! He will do well as a visual pet, or someone willing to put a lot of time into taming him down, and understanding with his age he may never tame down at this point. Nugget is a non biter but again, doesn't like to be touched or bothered.

Nugget is a difficult feeder, it takes time and effort to convince him to eat, but he does eat. He responds best to bugs he can hear moving around and doesn't have the best aim. This is an animal who does eat but takes his time getting there. We cannot emphasize patience enough with him. Nugget needs a calm, quiet home and will not be suitable for children of any sort and an understanding adult home that is going to be willing to put in time to help him live his golden days out. As of now Nugget is currently eating twice a week on dusted superworms.

Nugget will need an appropriate sized enclosure with hides, a humid hide, calcium bowl, water bowl and a proper undertank heater with a regulator. If EXTENSIVE research is done and shown in the application, we may allow alternative heat sources however if you REFUSE to use a regulator we REFUSE to adopt to you. We also must note that this is an animal that is sensitive to light and additional care must be taken. Nugget's adoption fee is $75.00.

To take Nugget home, proof of proper enclosure is required. Please respond to this ad and we will return the proper adoption forms and information to you. If you are unwilling to fill out our forms, please do not bother to reply.

We are located in Drayton Valley and while we encourage pick up we do offer delivery (once the adoption has been processed and approved) with a fee based on mileage and current gas prices. We require payment in full prior to leaving. All documentation must be filled out prior to anything to protect both parties and our animals.
