This is a fine advanced Cello, made from exceptional wood for tone and of the highest grade. The figured maple back and sides were cut in 1997, the spruce top was cut in the early 1990's. It is hard to get this aged quality wood which makes for a superior sound and the Cello will open up and the sound will mature when played. This Luthier (maker) has been making Cellos for 23 years when he made this Cello and this is an exceptional Cello. He said it was the finest wood he had ever worked with. Put your favorite strings on this Cello and you will have an advanced instrument that you will enjoy for many years. Made in 2018, I was not sure if I wanted to sell it. This is truly a fine instrument. May have a Bow you may like here and the Cello comes with a case.
