Great for slicing and even more important dicing! Only ever used the 12 mm dicer option as well as the 12 mm slicer but all other add on's have never been used. Included as part of the package is a Dicing Kit ($179) for 8 mm and 16 mm sizes, never used. Fantastic addition for those wanting to have a commercial feel in your own kitchen. I even have a spare 12 mm slicer that I received as a gift from Breville.
