We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Duties
Greet and welcome motel guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accurate information and smooth transactions.
Handle guest inquiries and provide information about the motel, amenities, and local attractions.
Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, assisting with reservations, room availability, and guest requests.
Maintain accurate records of reservations, payments, and guest information.
Process payments using the motel's point-of-sale system and issue receipts.
Monitor room availability and assist with housekeeping updates.
Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
Keep the front desk area tidy and organized, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and creating reports.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Follow motel safety and security protocols to protect guests and staff.
Experience
Previous front desk or customer service experience in a motel, hotel, or hospitality environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Proficiency in using reservation and point-of-sale systems (PMS) and standard office software (e.g., Google Suite or Microsoft Office).
Experience handling payments, cash, and credit card transactions accurately.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Familiarity with proper phone etiquette and handling a multi-line phone system.
Experience in record-keeping and data entry with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Knowledge of safety, security, and emergency procedures in a hospitality setting is an asset.
Previous experience collaborating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless guest experience is a plus.
