Description
-must have a pleasant and positive attitude. (why is this important? poor attitudes can negatively effect team morale, productivity, and motivation, and it can be contagious.)

-must have good communication skills (why is this important? if you are working on a job alone, we may need to communicate details back and forth clearly, unclear communication will result in misunderstandings, confusion, and discrepancies)

-must have a truck or van (why is this important? sometimes you may need to run out to pick up missing material, an extra sheet of plywood, a few pieces of drywall, 2x4, etc.) would be reimbursed right away.

-must have a valid license and credit card (why is this important? if you are working alone at a jobsite and something comes up that may require you to rent a tool or machine.) would be reimbursed right away.

-Must have hand tools (why is this important? you will need to be able to work independently at times, making sure you have adequate tools is critical to ensure you can actually get work done
Must have basic hand tools, such as a measuring tape, hammer, screw driver set, chaulkline, speed square, wrenches, allen and hex keys, drywall saw, knife, cutting snips, pliers, chisels, small and large pri-bars, drill bits, level, pencils and marker, safety shoes, safety glasses, etc. just to name a few.)

-Must have some power tools (why is this important? same as above, you need to be able to be independent at times, Must have some power tools are as follows: impact drill, driver drill, hammer drill, sawzall, grinder, skill saw, oscillating tool, jig saw.
Bonus if you have a mitresaw, table saw, sander, blower, etc. but otherwise will be provided.
Must have knowledge and a decent skill level in the following:
-Demolition
-drywall
-drywall taping
-carpentry
-painting
Bonus skills:
-basic plumbing
-tile work
-fine carpentry
-concrete work

What kind of work do we do?
medium to large renovations, with regular task such as:
-demolition
-decks and fences
-interior/exterior non-structural and structural framing
-drywall and taping
-tile work
-flooring
-interior door and trim
-exterior doors and windows
-plumbing and electrical (often sub-contracted out)
-HVAC (often sub-contracted out)
-concrete work
-minor brick work
-painting
-exterior siding

you are not expected to have experience in all areas, but must have experience in more then one construction of these skills.
