Hello! My name is Fatemah Taheri, and I'm a dedicated private tutor with over 6 years of experience supporting elementary school students in Math and English/language skills. Since 2019, I've worked with more than 30 families, helping young learners not only catch up, but truly grow in their confidence and abilities.

My approach goes beyond simply helping with homework. I identify each student's unique strengths and challenges, then build a personalized learning plan that fills in gaps, reinforces key concepts, and encourages independent thinking. In Math, I focus on strengthening number sense, problem-solving strategies, and logical reasoning. In English, I help students improve reading comprehension, expand vocabulary, develop writing skills, and speak with clarity. I create a supportive and engaging environment that allows students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and celebrating their progress.

I offer tutoring at $30 per hour, or a 4-month package for $900, which includes regular progress updates and flexible scheduling. Sessions are available online or in-person in the Guelph area. I also teach Persian at Al-Qalam Academy and hold certifications in educational accessibility and digital learning tools.
