The Indie IGH-11 features internally-geared Shimano Alfine (premium, easy to service liquid oil lubricated hub as opposed to ~all other internal hubs). 11-speed rear hub keeps the shift mechanism away from the elements for clean, durable reliability, and less opportunity to thrown chains. The bolt-on rear hub wheel are secure when locked up in the city, and the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes provide clean, quiet, confident stopping power no matter what the weather or terrain.
