FABULOUS 1901 HAND CRANK SEWING MACHINE INLAYED WITH MOTHER OF PEARL.

Hello & Welcome up for sale we have an absolutely gorgeous antique German made Gritzner & co..1901 Hand Crank Sewing Machine....Hand Decorated With Mother Of Pearl & hand painted with a wonderful flower & butterfly design surrounded by gold leaves and gold pinstriping, the colors are still bright & vibrant ,, It comes in excellent looking and working condition ,,,The wood inlayed case also in excellent condition showing only a bit of age.. The case locks tight and comes with its original key . It also has the shuttle and a few extra bobbins ..Please see photos..

This hand crank lock stitch machine was made in Durlack Germany. The gold badge on the machine features a prominent spider in the center of PATENT and TRADE MARK with Gritzner & Co., Durlach in Baden surrounding it..Gritzner & Co was the top maker of sewing machines in Europe at the turn of the 1900‘s ..with very few making there way to North America...This is in excellent condition museum quality the best one I've ever seen...The colors of the mother of pearl changes with the lighting & the hand painting is near perfect for being 124 years old ,, It really is a gorgeous piece of working art & German quality...In the end this company became Pfaff in 1957 and there still making fine quality sewing machines...Please see photos....
