Lot of three(3) VERY NICE STUDIO portraits of Royal Naval Officers dating from the turn of the 19th/20th Century & 1WW - 1920's period. All Officers are wearing Dress (their best) Uniforms. All are crisp, clear original photos taken by professional photographers of the time period. Unfortunately NO names are recorded for these Officers & there is nothing on the reverse of the photos. All three are monted on card stock tyical of that time frame.

Approx sizes -
Lieut (civil officer, possibly Naval Instructor branch) wearing 3 1WW medals - 7" x 9", this cut down from original but not affecting photo & album removed.
Lieut (Military Executive branch) - 7 1/2" x 10 3/8".
Lieut RNR(Royal Naval Reserve) - 6 3/4" x 9"; photo - 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" , some minor foxing on cardboard mount. This photo is likely pre 1WW, judging for the style of dress uniform he is wearing .

I have collected NAVAL photos & CDV's such as these examples for many many yrs & I am now selling out my extensive collection of pre 2WW portraits. Many of these actual uniforms I have had at one time in my collection, I KNOW pre war Naval Uniforms!! Thus I will be listing more in future!
