Hi I am a trained Blade Smith who has been sharpening for 15 years and has been sharpening locally in Saskatoon for around eight years. I have several loyal customers and I am the cheapest sharpener in town and can sharpen things other sharpeners cannot because I sharpen all blades and instruments by hand. I do not use grinders or machines as that they take off too much material and doing it by hand, can, do a much better job and enable me to do things like serrated edges.

My prices are as follows:

$3.50 for a regular knife sharpen (A $1.50 extra for Chip repair and $1.50 extra for broken tip repair.) ($1.00 extra for a serrated edge)

$5.00 for axes\hatches, and other similar instruments

$5.00 for lawn mower blades ($1.50 for chip repairs, if they are severe chips, the price may increase slightly)

$3.50 each for ice auger blades(I know it may be out of season however, there may be people wanting to prepare for next year)

I also sharpen other implements, basically anything with an edge and if you contact me we can work out a price for it.
