The DM603 S2 delivers unexpected power from a moderately sized speaker. Its enclosure accommodates two 8” low frequency units. The bass performance is further enhanced by the use of heavier Cobex cones in the low-frequency drivers delivering a lower fundamental resonance frequency.


The build quality is fantastic- very heavy with lots of internal bracing. They can be bi-amped.

While these speakers are rated for use with amplifiers from 25W to 150W, we would recommend driving them with at least 75 Watts per channel, as less than that seems to run the risk of damaging the tweeters at volume. These tweeters sound great, but they definitely "like" higher power amplifiers.
