Partition Systems Ltd has an immediate opening for an Assembler located in Edmonton, Alberta.
This is a detail-oriented production environment, where we primarily deal in aluminum extrusions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assembly of various wall systems.
• Ability to interpret engineer drawings.
• Perform quality control on various extrusions or parts.
• Cut a variety of (Aluminum) parts to dimensions using a pre-generated part cut-list (Using a Chop Saw)
• Glaze various wall systems.
• Package material, doors, and wall systems.

Position Details:
• Permanent
• Full-time with over-time available

Minimum Qualifications:
• Comfortable with power tools (Drills, chop saws) recommended but not necessary. Will provide in house training.
• Working with Aluminum Extrusions is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
• Understanding and working knowledge of measuring equipment is required (Tape Measure, MM & Inches)
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Must have STRONG attention to detail.
• Able to lift over 75lbs.
• Ability to stand for over 8 to 10 hours.
