We purchased this this 24'9” Grand Design Transcend Xplor 200MK travel trailer brand new in February of 2021. I decided I hated the dark interior, so in 2024 totally renovated the inside!
We put in new countertops, sinks, and taps in both kitchen and bathroom. A new Suburban propane stove with a 21” oven, a new smart TV, and new cupboard hardware was also installed. We removed the U-dinette and added a Lazy-Boy sofa bed, that is very comfortable to sit and sleep on. New window coverings, and we added four doors on cupboards that had none. New folding coffee station, and tons of storage within. It has a new Douglas Mattress (2024) that comes with a mattress cover. We also upgraded the room divider to the “poppy” one you see in the pictures. There is a Shaw Direct satellite system on it (2021), with receiver and remote. It currently has a 150W solar panel with solar controller which runs the 12V fridge and anything else 12V. You can add up to 600W without adding anything else to current system. Upgraded from the one standard 12V battery to two 6V batteries in series. We also installed the “soft start system” to run the AC more efficiently, AC is awesome! It has just had its yearly all over service completed including slide gears and had them repack all the wheel bearings. Added new tires all around (including spare) in 2024. A pet guard was added on the screen door. It will come with a Curtis hitch with sway control, chocks, levellers, water softener, fire pit, as well as a 30amp surge protector. It basically comes with everything you need to start camping right away. I do have a generator that could be negotiated for.
It is light and bright, and has been extremely well maintained.
We loved this unit, but after losing my hubby, it's time for someone else's family to love her.
