This 90 year old all original Gibson timepiece spent about 50 years "under the bed" in Saskatchewan after being taken there from Ontario by its original owner. I'm the third owner. The second owner, who sold it to me, gave me a brief history of the guitar's life typed out on a piece of paper inside a History of Gibson Guitars book that came along with it. This axe has the original tuners with the original plastic buttons on them in excellent condition. Original frets. Crack free, original set up, plays and sounds great. These hard to find beauties command some serious money, especially on this side of the border. Most get sold for US dollars back into the States on consignment and I was considering that but decided to see, first, if any Canadian collectors or guys after an amazing sounding old 30s Gibson might want to grab one. There aren't many. I'm in Orillia....phone/ text at 613-334-8187. If I was 20 years younger, you wouldn't be reading this. Folkway has had a few of these models up for sale over the past year, maybe one of them as good as this one, listed for around $9500 US, which is at least 12,500 Canadian. I'm looking for $11,500 Cdn and am not interested in tire kickers. This posting will probably be up for 3 to 4 weeks, depending, after which I'm calling US dealers. This guitar will NEVER be worth less than what you pay for it, I can assure you.
