Kantrax Contractors is a family-operated heavy construction company specializing in road building. Since 1992, we've served the community of Edmonton and the greater area.

We are currently hiring a full time Project Accounting Administrator in Leduc. This opportunity is ideal for a self-motivated and skilled professional looking for a flexible schedule and long-term employment. The position requires a commitment of about 25-40 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have experience in full-cycle project accounting such as:

· Accounts Receivable, collections, and holdback tracking;

· Accounts Payable;

· Bank Reconciliations and GST;

· Accounting Year-End;

· Payroll for 30-50 employees;

· Supporting Project Management tracking project billables and contracts; Including the use of programs such as Textura and Compass.

· Filing WCB Annual Returns;

· General office duties and special projects, such as LMIA, resume tracking and recruitment.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 Years general accounting experience;

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word);

· Strong organization skills;

· Strong oral and written communication skills;

· Independently motivated and able to prioritize multiple deadlines.

· Sage 50 or QuickBooks experience an asset, but will train the right person;

· Diploma in accounting or related field an asset.
