Job Posting: Personal Support Worker (PSW) – In-Home Care

Location: Windsor
Job Type: Personal Support Care
Schedule: Fulltime/Part Time (2 hours per day)
Compensation: Starting at $22/Hour

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our care team and provide essential support to a patient in a warm and respectful home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist family and/or nurse with patient care routines

Support safe transfers between bed and chair

Perform peri care, including diaper changing

Reposition patient for chest physiotherapy and comfort (with pillows, side lying, etc.)

Assist with bed baths on designated bath days (prepare pitchers, basins, etc.)

Engage the patient through gentle interaction (reading, light massage, conversation)

Maintain cleanliness of the patient's environment

Disinfect surfaces, handles, tables, and other high-touch areas

Vacuum and wipe the room floor


Fold and put away clean laundry


Requirements:

Valid PSW certification or equivalent experience

Kind, patient, and respectful demeanor

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Experience with personal care, mobility support, and infection control

Comfortable working in a home care setting
