Hi everyone,

I'm looking to build a small team of reliable people to help care for my 77-year-old mother in Aylmer, 7 days a week. These are paid roles through the Chèque Emploi-Service (CES) program. You don't need to be available every day - I'm looking for people who can cover regular shifts during the week.

Tasks include:
• Helping her get ready in the morning (dressing, compression socks, personal hygiene, breakfast prep)
• Preparing simple meals in bowls for lunch and supper (generally no cooking - just assembling food from the fridge)
• Helping her get ready for bed in the evening (changing clothes, evening hygiene routine)
• Shower or sponge bath once a week (typically Sunday mornings)
• Light housekeeping (tidying kitchen, emptying dishwasher)
• Occasional support with things like reaching for items or organizing supplies
• She speaks English - candidates must be comfortable communicating in English

She is warm and friendly, with some mobility and cognitive challenges. She uses a walker and is on insulin (which she manages herself). She's also currently in chemo but is doing well overall. Full supplies and training support provided. I'm also available for questions and support anytime.

Schedule:
• Mornings: daily, 1-1.5 hrs, arrival around 7:00-7:30 AM
• Evenings: daily, 30–60 min, arrival between 7:30-8:30 PM
• I'm open to building a flexible schedule that works for everyone involved
