This is Tequila the Female Blue fronted Amazon parrot! It's been a hard choice to make but I just don't have the time to give her the needed guidance so that she can become hand tamed. She loves to socialize and really enjoys head scratches! Daily she enjoys hanging out on her perch when everyone is around, when no one is around she goes in her cage. She can say “oh” “hello” “what” and “what are you doing” but not on command. She is not a noisy bird and really only vocalizing when she is trying to call you over for attention/head scratches. The biggest problem I have faced with her is she will bite and for this reason I have not been able to ever get her to step up on my finger. She is 22 years old and in good health. Before she came to me she was with a family who gave her no attention for about 5 years, her history before that is unknown to me.
