Our 2025 litter of puppies has arrived! There are 5 in total - four females and one male - and they will be available to go to their new homes on July 12th. Three are red with white markings and two are black with white tummies.

BREED & PARENT INFORMATION
These F1 Cavapoo puppies are a lovely 50/50 blend of two breeds: the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, known for their gentle nature and devotion to their family, and the Mini Poodle, renowned for their intelligence and their non-shedding coat. Cavapoos are generally considered to be a good choice for people with mild allergies - their curlier coat sheds less and produces fewer allergens. Mom is a gentle 24 lb. tricolour Cavalier and this is her third and final litter. Dad is a playful 16 lb. light red Mini Poodle. Both parents live on site as family pets. They have both been DNA tested and are healthy. Mom has had her hips evaluated and she does not show evidence of hip dysplasia.

HEALTHY, WELL-ADJUSTED PUPPIES
The puppies are being raised inside our home and interact with us daily. They are exposed to exercises that develop the puppies' ability to tolerate different types of touch, handling, and sensations (e.g. touching feet, teeth, ears, tail). They receive purposeful exposure to a variety of noises in a typical home (e.g. vacuum, kitchen noises), and are regularly introduced to novel scents, items, and experiences, including bathing and nail trims. This helps them learn how to tolerate new situations and how to self-soothe after an initial startle or moment of stress. As the puppies become older and more active, they will get playtime each day in our fenced yard. This allows them to get comfortable walking on different surfaces (gravel, dirt, concrete) and going to the bathroom outside on the grass. While inside, they learn to exclusively use the pee pad in their pen. They also receive initial exposure to sleeping in a crate, cuddled up with their littermates.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY COMPANIONS
Cavapoos are wonderful pets for adapting to the varied levels of activity that occur in a home throughout the day. They will joyfully romp around the yard, explore the trails, or hop on the boat with their family. They equally love to snuggle up to their favourite people when it's time to relax. They make for a delightful personal ‘heating pad' on chilly winter nights! Our puppies are well-socialized with people, including children. They have daily interaction with their mom and dad, as well as two other adult dogs. In a few weeks, they will join their parents for walks in the community, riding along in the bike trailer. From their enclosed chariot, they are able to experience the many different sights, sounds, and smells that the outdoor world brings. The puppies are most excited about each of the opportunities that they get to say hello to anyone we pass along the way. Their keen attention to people and their playful, but gentle nature win the hearts of adults and kids alike!

ADOPTION
Interested families will be asked to complete a Puppy Interest Form. Once a family is approved, a $500 deposit is required in order to be added to the reservation list for this litter. Before going home, each puppy will be examined by the vet, dewormed x4 and given their 8-week shots. They will also be implanted with a microchip. A one-year breeder health guarantee for the puppy is included. You will also receive a 6-week trial of pet insurance. Puppies will go home with a welcome kit to help with the transition to their new family. Some items in the kit include a canister of their current puppy food, a toy, and a soft blanket with the smells of both parents and their littermates.
