Timing 7am to 6:30pm

Pay Rate- $17.80/hr

Job Summary:

The Sanitation Associate is responsible for ensuring that all production equipment, tools, and work areas are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with company standards, food safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a sate and sanitary food production environment.

• Key Responsibilities:

* Clean and sanitize production equipment, utensils, and surfaces in processing and packaging areas.

* Perform deep cleaning tasks in accordance with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.

* Disassemble and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning.

* Use and handle cleaning chemicals safely and properly.

* Document cleaning and sanitation activities as required.

* Comply with all safety, quality, and food safety standards (including FDA, SQF, CFIA, GMPs, and HACCP).

* Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.

* Work effectively with other team members and departments to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

* Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE)

* Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures. Operate wastewater treatment plant

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in food manufacturing or sanitation a plus

• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and follow instructions.

• Must be able to work in wet, cold, and humid environments.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed

Work Environment:

• Exposure to food ingredients, cleaning chemicals, and industrial machinery.

• Standing, bending, and lifting for most of the shift.

• Fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
