Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trailer Builder Technician to join the Factory Direct Trailer team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and constructing various trailer models, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Assembly and Fabrication: Construct and assemble trailers such as the Folding Motorcycle Trailer, Triton Single Place, Explore Pro Overland Trailer, and Warrior 5 x 8 Boxed Utility Trailer. This includes interpreting blueprints, welding, and integrating components.​
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections during and after assembly to ensure each trailer adheres to Factory Direct Trailers quality standards and safety regulations.​
Component Installation: Install essential trailer components, including but not limited to LED lighting systems, torsion axles, aluminum alloy wheels, and braking systems.​
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and necessary repairs on trailers to uphold optimal functionality and safety.​
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials and components, coordinating with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.​
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, inspections, and any modifications made to trailer designs.​

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in trailer fabrication or a related field.​
Technical Skills: Using standard tools and familiarity with trailer components such as torsion axles, LED lighting, and braking systems.​ Knowledge of trailer models, accessories, and electrical systems related to trailer lighting and braking.
Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to precision and quality in assembly processes.​
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy components and stand for extended periods during assembly.​
