If you have ever tried to run thin strips thru your saw, especially repeatedly all the same size, you will appreciate this jig. Just set the distance from the blade with your stock touching the roller bearing, and slide your fence up against the stock and push it through the blade, then slide your fence and stock in against the roller bearing and cut again, no measuring necessary and the thin strips are away from the fence and don't kick back.
It's made by Rutlands of England, they are reminiscent of Lee Valley tools, they make all kinds of great specialty items for woodworking.
