KC Food Products Ltd is a family-run business based in Edmonton, Alberta, with over 20 years of experience crafting authentic and delicious Asian food products. We are excited to expand our presence in the Western Canadian market through the Sobeys Local Supplier Program and farmers' markets. To help promote our products, we are seeking enthusiastic Food Samplers/Demonstrators to engage with customers, offer tastings, and drive sales in stores and at local markets.

Job Description:
As a Food Sampler/Demonstrator, you will be the face of our brand, offering samples, answering questions, and creating a memorable experience for shoppers. Your role is key in building product awareness, driving sales, and ensuring customers enjoy our high-quality offerings. This position requires providing in-store retail support and sales assistance at our main store location.

Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, maintain, and dismantle sampling stations in-store or at farmers' markets.
* Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering samples and promoting product features.
* Answer questions about ingredients, flavors, and product benefits using provided training materials.
* Guide customers to product locations and encourage purchases.
* Operate a POS system for transactions (where applicable).
* Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe sampling area.
* Follow all food safety regulations and company policies.
* Track and report customer feedback and demo results.
* Supporting retail operations and sales activities at our main store

Qualifications & Requirements:
* Valid Food Handler's Certificate (must be provincially or nationally recognized in Canada). Willingness to obtain certification before starting is acceptable.
* Strong communication skills – ability to interact confidently with diverse customers.
* Customer service or sales experience (retail, promotions, or food service is an asset).
* Comfortable using a POS system (experience preferred but training provided).
* Reliable transportation to travel to various locations in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
* Physical stamina – able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., demo equipment).
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
* Outgoing, energetic, and passionate about food!

Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Experience in food sampling, demo events, or farmers' markets.
* Sales and promotional background.
* Multilingual abilities (an asset in diverse communities).
