Professional, private healthcare workers at Cariboo Orthotics are looking to add another valued member to the team! This position is to be filled by July 1, 2025 or sooner.

Tasks:

Greeting and assisting customers immediately as they come in
Answering questions, booking appointments, answering phone calls
Cleaning throughout day
Completing to-dos such as reminder calls, printing insurance documents etc.
Taking payments and processing sales through Quickbooks
Taking on most 3rd party insurance billing (training will be provided) to: First Nations Health Authority, ICBC, Work Safe BC, Medavie Blue Cross and coordinating appropriate plans
Fitting off-the-shelf devices (training will be provided) for assorted items like compression socks, basic braces, toe devices, pre-made arch supports etc.
Schedule management for main Williams Lake Clinic and all satellite clinics

Compensation: starting wage of $19-21/hour depending on comfort with Quickbooks and experience.

Term: we are looking for a long-term, reliable team member. We are semi-flexible with day-to-day scheduling (if discussed well in advance). Position could be part time or full time.

Responsibilities

Coordinate appointments, promote bookings and company growth/sales with customer service skill.
Teamwork; helping with day to day tasks, cleaning, submitting faxes and filling out paperwork for two clinical Pedorthists.

Qualifications

Must have strong english communication skills, be eager to learn new things and adapt quickly. Must have completed high school or equivalent with preference to applications who have 3 years in reception or customer service jobs. Ideal candidate will be a fast typer, strong computer skills and a natural multitasker.
